AxioTAP Class A2 Series

AxioTAP Class A2: Monitor Gig Fiber TAPs are ideal for undetected, fail-safe monitoring of full duplex multi-mode and single-mode 1000Base-SX and LX) Fiber Gigabit Ethernet Network data transmission traffic by Copper Gigabit monitoring devices. The Axio A2 Monitor Gig fiber TAPs use traditional optical splitter technology. Uni-directional network traffic is constantly connected through the tap and continues to flow, with no delay, even in the event of power failure to the tap. Packet injection is not supported, and monitoring port traffic is isolated from the network.

Axio Monitor Fiber SM TAPs provide 24x7 dual monitoring connectivity to full-duplex single-mode fiber (1000Base-LX) Ethernet network segments. Four (4)-ports include 2-RJ45 copper monitoring ports and 2-LC/FO small form factor fiber network ports, with front panel selectable configuration.

Aggregate traffic to either 1000Base-T monitoring port, or use a single NIC to monitor full-duplex traffic up to 1000MB accumulated. Use two (2) 1000Base-T NIC's in one security device or use two monitoring devices with single NIC's, to receive traffic from both monitoring ports.
